A cure for Wild Animal?

Post by ScottTBBF »

I was thinking a bit after reading the discussion of Piling On on this board and I realized that a nasty way to help mitigate Wild ANimal would be to provide the Wild Animal with Piling On.

Because, you see, if your Wild Animal is lying down, they don't have to block adjacent opponents....

In an ideal world, if you can get your WA to 31 SPP and roll doubles once, you could have Block + Piling On + JumpUp

Which would be JUST NASTY, IMHO....

It'd be a bit of a rough go getting your WA to that point, but Hoo Boy would they be tough after that....

Seems nice. The problem is just that Jump up is a agility TRAIT :(
So no jumping up Wildanimals for you ;) (thank god for that)

Damn. Forgot that...

Ah well, even without JumpUp, Piling On still cures much of the potential ills of Wild Animal, no?

And if you give that WA say Dodge instead then, on his doubles, that means he has a shot at getting out of the scrum if there's an open laneway...

Better give him Break tackle, gives him a better chance of getting away than dodge.

Hi,
if it's alle the same to you, and assuming that you get a doubles roll, Piling On + Fang is the obvious choive for me.
+5/+2 - eeew!

That's not quite true...

An AG3 with Dodge has about an 89% chance of succeeding to dodge out to a clear space.

An AG5 (equivalent with Break Tackle) only has an 83.3% chance of success.

Plus Dodge helps him to not be knocked over by other big guys...

But you want him to be on the ground so he doesn't have to block when he starts his turn. That's why you give him piling on in the first place.

Assuming he has an ag of 3, but if its the minotauer we are talking of an ag 2 player.
