New skill on Orc Blitzer

Post by brassman »

I rolled a normal skill on my Orc Blitzer, and am looking for suggestions what to give em:

He's currently 6 3 4 9 Block, Guard, Strip Ball

Any ideas? The entire team can be seen on http://www25.brinkster.com/brassman/lad ... .asp?ID=15

(the blitzer in question is nr 10)

cheers

Sam

I used to play an Orc Team, and my blitzers' first skills...

were Strip Ball.

But.....It matters who you will mainly be fighting against.

In my Orc Team, when one of my guys was breaking the line to get to the opponet's ball carrier, it was almost always my blitzer. So, I started giving them all strip ball, and quickly that became a large advantage for me.

Sure Hands. Thats one hell of an offensive threat you have there with AG4, I note from the roster he seems to be your primary Ball carrier, and having something to reroll ball pick ups could be very useful for you in cases of tackle zones on the ball or if you throw a 1 and don't want to burn a reroll. Also useful if opponents note your tactic and start to use Strip Ball a lot.

Alternatively, Pass Block could be fun, making him an EVIL pass rusher.

Tackle isn't a bad suggestion either.

(and thats a real nice team you got)

Thanks, they evolved nicely (20 games), only the Ogres were major problems (only got block in the previous game, and two Ogres before him got killed!). I'm particularly fond of my goblin Join de Culasse, an AG upgrade on a goblin is soo good...

I had been thinking of Tackle too; hadn't taken it so far because of the general lackof dodgy teams in our league. Another skill I was considering was maybe Shadowing, not too sure about that though.

As an aside, this team won me the Chaos Cup yesterday, beating a hard dwarf team 2-1.

Tackle. Strip Ball doesn't work against Sure Hands so Tackle increases the chances of putting them down. It also helps on defence to reduce the little blighters running away.
