Rule Reading 101: If something is not in the rule book, you cannot do it. There are no rules in the rule book that say you can't cook and eat your opponent when you throw a block...do you think you should be able to?daloonieshaman wrote:

There are no listed rules stating that you cannot hold on to a player
There are written rules to treat a TTM/AH player as a fumbled pass to be treated as normal.
There is a skill/trait combination that allows you to hold on to a fumbled player
So, since there are no rules describing how to hold onto a player, you can't hold on to a player. There is no rule enabling you to hold a player in the 1st place.
your last point is faulty as well. There is a skill that allows you to hold on to a fumbled BALL. There is no rule, skill, trait, whatever, that allows you to hold onto a player.
