TTM - landing on your own player

Post by zephard »

I know that the Thrown Team Mate is not a turnover if he doesn't land properly if he wasn't holding the ball.

The teammate he landed on doesn't have the ball either.
So is that a turn over?

From the list of things that cause a turnover... Pg 7 LRB5.
A player on the moving team is Knocked Down (being injured
by the crowd or being Placed Prone is not a turnover unless it is
a player from the active team holding the ball … e.g. skills like
Diving Tackle, Piling On and Wrestle count as being Placed
Prone)
So yes knocking over your own player with a TTM is a turnover.

Thanks Father. I just went and reread the TTM, it is "Knocked Down" not placed prone.
