Handing-off and Catch

Post by Syphwyn »

Can you use the Catch skill to re-roll a failed hand-off, as the roll is for the player recieving the ball?

Should do, since it counts as a pass (though since there's no throw, and therefore can't be accurate, and thus can't be counted as a Completition) then the catch should be able to be rerolled.

In the description for catch (Pg44 LRB5.0) it states:

A player with the catch skill is allowed to re-roll the D6 if he fails a catch roll. It also allows the player to re-roll the D6 if he drops a hand-off or fails to make an interception.

Hope this helps! :D
