Lizard skills...

Post by PanzerSmurf »

Hey everyone...

As some of you might know, I have recently started my first team, and I have them playing in a local league.

Now, Lizardmen aren't an extremely diverse team, each positional filling a distinct role.

I allready have one star skink, gave him sure feet. Not sure this was a good choice.
Also, for sauri, I would think block is a good choice? Or perhaps St?
And for the kroxigor, the same thing? Or perhaps guard or jugger?

Could you guys help a total noob out? :(

for skinks these combo's are good:
catch/sure feet and side step/dving tackle
Sure Hands and block on doubles.

Kroxigor should take Guard first IMO, then Stand Firm although some like Juggernaut/Break Tackle.

Sauruses need a bit of everything. you need a few with Break Tackle, and a few with Block. Maybe one with Guard. Then start taking skills like Tackle, Frenzy, Mighty Blow, more Guard,...

Hmm, I'll take those things into account... Anything more for the krox?

And also, off topic, I like your avater, from Humo is it?

He only has S access so there are not that many good skills for him. Grab and Multiblock could also be usefull though. On doubles have no doubt and take block immediately!

Yes it is! :)

I agree that Block is the orthodox and obvious skill choice on a Krox on a doubles roll.

However, I suggest Diving Tackle should also be considered.

Combined with his Prehensile Tail, this gives a cumulative -3 to dodge rolls away from the Krox.

Hope this helps.

I like Stand Firm and Grab more for my Krox.

Doubles rolls I like Block. But on a developed Lizzie team (I picked up the Krox late) I have also taken Side Step. My recommendation is block or tackle (tackle trumps diving tackle because of the 1/6 chance that the krox will not be able to stand... in my experience.)

Or the dice gods can completely shin on you and you can end up with Block, Dodge, Break Tackle on your Krox like I did. :)

Well, I got guard on my krox, for starters. That sounded good too ^^

I suggest preferrably only picking Multiple Block on a Kroxigor if it has already gained +S, so as to keep a 2D block vs S3 players.
