So, our (un)friendly Orc coach is using an MB + Piling On player....

The question is, if MB is not declared in the initial armor break, is MB available for the armor re-roll?

Yes. So you only use MB if you need to.

It might be easier to think that why would you use MB if you choose to reroll? So if you do reroll then you'll have MB available on the rerolled result.

If you've used MB to break armour it isn't available for injury.

declaring the use of MB ... you don't have to do that. It's an "decide to use after you roll the dice - skill"
