How do you calculate Jump up + Block

Post by daloonieshaman »

We were playing and ran into this interesting situation

Player AG3 Jumps Up and Blocks
So with an AG 3 = 4+ and the +2 he Jumps up and blocks on anything but a 1?
an AG1 player would Jump up/Block on a 4+

Did we read this correctly?

is the AG roll for jump up affected by tackle zones? i've always played it that the roll is not affected by TZ's, but i was asked by one of league and he presented a nice arguement that it's not mentioned in the jump skill.

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.
Bribe level: good coffee.

The player may also declare a Block Action while Prone which requires an Agility roll with a +2 modifier to see if he can complete the Action. A successful roll means the player can stand up for free and block an adjacent opponent. A failed roll means the Block Action is wasted and the player may not stand up.
There aren't modifiers for standing up. The Agility roll is just to see if your player can hit someone while standing up.

So its not mentioned in the skill so he thinks it should apply? How odd.

You wouldn't think it was odd if you had met the bournemouth lot ;]
