Diving Tackle and rerolled Dodges

note, that the example of Side Step use is a bit different, as you don't use sidestep until a push result is applied to the player...and you can't apply the push result until you have resolved the block dice roll--including any RR's. (so, option 1 on the side step can't happen, as once the attacker as chosen which block die result to use, he can't go back and apply a RR to them if someone decides to use side Step)

As others have pointed out, when the human catcher rolls a 4, he has a successful dodge--no need to re-roll it at all unless someone actually uses Diving Tackle.
