Dwarfs and Double on a TS

Post by The Dazzler II »

A case of locking the stable door after etc etc

However, i took SS rather than Dodge or Sure Feet.

Did i do a boo-boo? I figured he could go play on the side linelines reasonably safely. The fact that i had to Apoth him in my next game is neither here nor there

Thanks

Side Step is good, just give him guard so he can sneak through gaps and the rest of the dudes get assists.

IMO probably better than dodge of surefeet. With armour 9 the odd tumble isn't going to bother them much.

And they make good zombies! :orc:

In all seriousness... is this a rookie slayer? Dodge would've made him a real stinker... with Stand Firm coming next... *twitch*, *twitch*....

I would like to have tried sure feet.... given the last ditch nature of some Frenzy attacks, having a little more surety on the GFI's would have been nice...

Yeah a rookie TS in a Cyanide Open League.

I agonised [wraps cold towel around head and stares at ceiling] ohh for all of five minutes about Dodge, but thought that everyone and his dog will eventually have Tackle. And at AG2 he's going no-where

Hi - i read your guide and did think about SF as well as Dodge

I think SS will be useful but i'm still not convinced i haven't dropped a clanger.

Still what's done is done so i may as well have some fun with him and Blitz with the other TS who is going the MB/PO route :D

I didn't twig that TS = Troll Slayer - doh!

Then yeah Sure Feet would have been better.

[drums fingers]

I know now [humph!] ... but ... but he practically destroyed a Norse team this evening single-handedly. Actually with judicious use of assists but even so.

Surf City here we come

Patience eh? Not something i'm overly familiar with as a rule but its working a treat.

5-1-0 and i should have won the Drawn game too - made a break for it too early and when there was no real pressure

The cheque is in the post

Side Step is a great choice I think. It makes it that much easier to set up for a surf.

Sure Feet... sorry I really don't see it. Sure it has its usefulness, but you have a few better choices.

My SY Giant5 are 6-1-0 now and TV1400+

Rolled 6+6 on the Runner with Block. Well, Dodge/SS etc would be great on him but it would be just plain rude not to make him the strongest member of the team.

The only Lineman to skill up so far i gave SF rather than Guard. He has been an absolute joy, usually holding BGs at bay.

Guard/MB on the Blitzers with a Strip-Ball/MB and SS Slayers.

I do need some Guard though on the Blockers; the MVP award just keeps jumping on the positionals. Not that i'm complaining :)

I surprised that Jump-up never gets any love in these conversations.

Maybe because of the AG2, which means 3+ and is not so much of a surething.
