Stand Firm & Amazon Blitzers (FUMBBL)

I’ve just been reading the Amazon Strategy Guide on FUMBBL and I’m a bit confused by the advice for Blitzers. It’s recommending Stand Firm as a double skill as it “completely removes the chance of causing a turnover on a failed dodge”. Firstly, as a Strength skill, Stand Firm is a normal skill for Amazon Blitzers. Secondly, how does it affect failed doges?
I’m assuming that this advice must refer to a previous ruleset, but would be interested in the details.
(Yes, I know this would probably be better directed to the FUMBBL forums, but I can’t access them from work.)

It used to be an LRB4 trait. Which were only available on doubles to players with S access.

If you failed a dodge, you didn't trip, but move was over. IRC only trees and the deathroller had this out of the box.

(can't remember whether you made it to new square or not)

Cheers, that explains it.
