Explaining the buff threads
I thought I'd better wxplain before someone gets really sick of these threads.
I'm looking for ideas on how to buff: Ogres, halflings, gobbos, vampires, humans, chaos and khemri.
Then I'll be looking to nerf woodies, dwarfs and undead.
So, 10 threads in all. Thanks for participating
Cheers

Nah.
I'm not shooting for total equilibrium.
I still want the joke/stunty teams to be weaker than the rest. And IMO underworld is the strongest of those teams.
Humans may be better, but they're weak for a normal team. Hence the buff.
Cheers

Ha - we just had this discussion
You're not the only one who thinks that orcs are a bit much. In fact, I've got a thread on just this subject among the top 5(?) in the House Rules section.
But - I've picked the teams based on a rather large data sample of LRB5 games (10.000 games = 20.000 data pips) and in that sample orcs were nowhere near the top.
That being said, perhaps there are enough people feeling like you that it would make sense to add orcs to the list...
Not sure.
Cheers

Sooner or later.
For now they can be found at the end of the individual threads.
Also, I'll be posting the full list at the MBBL site as a full colour word doc. As you may know, I'll be using them in a big tournament, if I can find the coaches.
Cheers

Hi Carnis,
2 reasons:
a) In the discussions preceding the LRB5+ I heard several coaches stating that the Nurgle team is simply "chaos, but better".
b) according to the stats I collected, which were the basis of all the buff threads, Nurgle did notably better than chaos:
