If Brets can have 8/3/3/8 knights, humans should have 8/3/3/8 Blitzers.
I can't even be bothered to take the bait...

Bretonnian blitzers are 2 points up from a Human lineman.
that's absolute wrong. 8)
every elf blitzer is one point movement up its respective lineman
Dark elf Blitzer MO7 > DE lineman MO6
Pro elf Blitzer MO7 > PE lineman MO6
Silvan elf wardancer MO8 > SE lineman MO7
High elf Blitzer MO7 > HE lineman MO6

so a blitzer MAY have only MOV 1 point up from its lineman stat  (and there are a lot of races which doesn't exist that benefit)

and i think werewolf doesn't deserve the 8 armour stat cos it's the only player in the game with mov>7 with that stat; anyway it's an exception, not the rule

when was the need the argument for discussing?

I think his point that the elf blitzers get one point of additional movement and one point of additional armour.

just pro elf blitzer... others 3 don't get it, so which one is the rule and which is the exception?

I don't care.
The Bretonnian blitzer can be an exception too.
It's certainly not game breaking, impossible or against the laws of physics.

Griff is the pinnacle of the human athlete in this game and he can't even move 8 in the same armor, but I guess in a fantasy world it could be likely that Brettonia would have that many outstanding athletes well traded in full plate mail to be able to field 4 to every team. :D

I know, I know...if I suspend disbelief enough I'm sure that it's because Griff is weighed down by all that extra Strength and Agility.

Just sayin'...

Griff used to be able to move eight. I guess he is getting old as the editions role on.

Or maybe it's because humans aren't supposed to be able to move 8 in that much armor and they decided to give him a good buffing.

Really Asperon? A personal attack? I'm disagreeing with you- not trying to eat babies. I've been keeping my end civil, please do the same. This is a arguement about armor, not personal character or anything like that.

The human body is ridiculously dependant on balance. For instance, what happens when our balance is shifted in a very small way through losing, say, a little toe, what happens? We have to completely relearn how to walk. Balance is important both vertically and horizontally, and the slightest changes in balance can completey throw us off.

I say we all get together and settle this the old fashioned way...on the pitch! :D

The only problem is the 1000s of miles seperating everyone. :-?

That's not quite true.

If you miss the big toe, yes. But you can walk and run quite good if you miss one of the lesser toes. You dont need to "relearn to walk".

Although I agree on the balance-idea. Most MA (Martial Arts) rely on getting momentum and putting your opponent off-balance and do all kinds of nasty stuff then (throwing for example).

Just saying.

I thought the pinky toe was the one you could balance without?
Seeing as it small and imobile. With the big toe being the one you need. Actually * looks at foot* my pinky toe is so small it doesn't even pass the sole of my foot if you get what I mean.... um..... if I was wearing a shoe my pinky toe wouldn't touch the inner sole of the shoe.

Weird tangent for a bret thread.
