A house rule I haven't properly thought through.
* All positional players lose access to General skill progression (ie Orc Blitzers may only take Strength skills, Wardancers may only take Agility skills).
* Dwarf, Beastmen and all Elf linemen lose access to Strength and Agility skills respectively. These positions may now only take General skills.
* Chaos teams retain access to Mutations.
I haven't thought through all the consequences. Just something that occurred to me.
Would teams who start with lots of Block be completely busted (despite my attempt to nerf the Dwarf Wall)?
Just a thought that I thought would provoke an interesting debate rather than any sort of serios suggestion.

would have wide reaching impacts for each team.
I think a good idea would be to make more skill categories, for example instead of AGILITY skills you might have
CATCHING skills
catch, diving catch, passblock, nerves of steel etc
and ATHLETIC skills
sprint, surefeet, sidestep, leap etc
Then you could limit the availability of these categories, for example Gutter runners/Witchelves/Wardancers could have Athletic Skills but not Catching.
Human/Elf/Woody/Highelf catchers could have Catching skills but not Athletic
You could apply the same principle to Strength skills, e.g.
BLOCKING skills,
Guard, MultipleBlock, MightyBlow
STRENGTH skills,
Breaktackle, Juggernaught,
General,
TACKLING SKILLS
Tackle, Wrestle, StripBall
General Skills,
Leader, Kickreturn etc
