Chaos ball

Our league is currently doing a chaos cup and the commissioner decided to add a chaos ball effect to the game. Any time a ball is knocked loose or a catch miffed (except on kickoff) the ball mutates based off a d6 roll.

On a 1 nothing happens

On a 2 the ball splits, the second one scatters and the drive doesnt end until both balls are scored or the half ends

On a 3 the ball becomes cursed and the next player to come in contact with it becomes a Frogling (snotling with the leap skill). The effect ends like a ko roll after any drive and is affected by bw babes.

On a 4 the ball sprouts legs and scatters d6 spaces in d8 direction. It does so at the start of every turn that it isnt in the possession of a player.

On a 5 it sprouts teeth and when you pick it up or on every action attempt while carrying it the ball will throw a 1 str block on the player. This is affected by dodge and block skills. All mutations are cumulative so if it gets teeth more than once the str of the block goes up by 1 each time.

On a 6 nothing happens.

Anyone scoring with a str 3 ball with legs get to add it to their roster as a player after the game.

Very strange but highly entertaining variant to the game. The undefeated chaos team in our league actually scored with a mutated ball and added it to their team for kicks.

Interestin, i quite like some of those. When the ball splits into two do you still get SPP for scoring the first touchdown?

That is awesome. I can see it getting confusing if you have half a dozen balls with legs running around, but it sounds great nonetheless. Thanks for posting these.
