Pile On Alternative

I just played a few games the other day with a slight variation on the Pile On rule.

first of all no modifiers like claw or MB etc... are added to roll.
Instead when declaring Pile On you go back to rolling against the Av (regardless of whether you broke it first time of trying) and you add your players St to the roll. If you fail to break the av then you roll for injury against the player piling on straight away. Was lots of fun. Made big guys uber good at Pilling On, St3 players not so much. Though we havent played it against any av 7 teams yet which it could be pretty aweful against. Was funny though, especially when a Mummy crippled himself by rolling a snakes trying to pile on a human lineman.

That is an interesting variation which at least carries some risk to the Piling On player.

Another option would to make Piling On a similar risk as a foul. ie. Piling On player ejected on a doubles roll
