Dice punishment
i for one am sick and tired of waiting for opponents who "accidently" roll their dice off the table. they bend down to pick it up, and if it is a failed roll they either spin the dice and tell you it was actually a 5, or 6 or they just pick it up and say "oops, gotta reroll it". how is this fair? it's like getting a free re-roll. same goes for coachs who throw the block dice down in the pitch causing players to shift their locations on the board. why?!?! i think that if you are unable to keep the dice on the table, and off the pitch, then all dice that fall off the table or on the pitch are assumed automaticly failed. if you wanna use a reroll to attempt to better your dice aim, go right ahead. or maybe even force you to use a reroll even if you'd rather just fail the attempt. and if you have no rerolls, then your turn is over. i'm sick of it!!!! AHHHH!!!

In the ftf league i was in, we just made an understanding at the beginning of the game, if it aint on a flat level surface somewhere on the table, it dont count.
Half on/off the pitch, reroll it.
Off the table, reroll it, dont matter if its a 6 or a 1, reroll it.
Cocked on a base, reroll it.

We use similar rules, except we accept it if it lands on the table.
Anyway, everyone knows that the dice wll always be the number you want if it lands on the floor.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Good rule:
If it drops off the table, always reroll, no question about that.
If it is skewed (leaning against a fig, for example), always reroll.
You avoid a lot of problems if this is clear in advance.

Yeah, i'm with sean newboy on that ..
No problem what the dice shows, it has to end moving on a flat surface over the table, and not over any mini nor pen, nor enything else.
It should be respected as a code of conduct for everyone, specially in tourneys.

Yep, that's the way we play it as well. As with the block dice. If you have to roll more than one dice and they are't all lying correctly, all of them are throwen again. To bad if you threw a POW.sean newboy wrote:In the ftf league i was in, we just made an understanding at the beginning of the game, if it aint on a flat level surface somewhere on the table, it dont count.
