Newbie commish is an necessity to produce experienced commishes, but powergamer newbie commishes, changing the rules into their favour, are a horrendous sight to behold.

I think that when you are a new commisioner, and the other coaches aren't veteran, you ALWAYS try to wi the games, no matter what. fortunately, is only a mmater of time, and then, they learn to play, and you have to learn to lose.

How about the league that changed the pick-up... simply no turn-over for a failed pick-up... Needless to say... the league only features bash-teams... hahahaha

If all players were allowed to blitz and with a +1 modifier for the Dodge and do NOT suffer the -1 penalty to make it......would that make this house rule better???

I do indeed. Just wanted to know and still do!!!!. As a side note.....in my house rules, block has been moved to Strength. Tackle has no affect on the block dice. Instead it gives a -1 to the Dodge roll as well as not being able to Re-rolls a failed dodge.

Why???? Wrestle is in general. Shouldn't be an issue

But why did you introduce the change in the first place? What issue (from your point of view) does it solve? Usually when you do such significant changes to core rules, there should be a good reason.

Usual arguments.......everybody takes block.....it's why wrestle was introduced. Personally I have always thought block should be a re roll and wrestle should be part of the blocking system (both down) not an individual skill

Block as a strength skill? Someone likes their big guys.
Playing ogres?

So tackle is just a better version of prehensile tail?

Prehensile tail also works when prone!

Don't think it does. Prehensile Tail affects players leaving your tackle zones. If you're prone, you don't have any tackle zones.
