formal challenges

Post by Awesomizer »

I have a question about how formal challenges are handled.

Here's the scenario:

Formal Challenge 1: Team A issues a formal challenge to team B.
Formal Challenge 2: Team C issues a formal challenge to team B.

Team B wants to do the following:

Formal Challenge 1: Team B asks Team C to substitute for him and play Team A.
Formal Challenge 2: Team B asks Team A to substitute for him and play Team C.

Formal Challenge 1: Team C agrees to play team A.
Formal Challenge 2: Team A agrees to play team C.

Team A and team C play each other.

Does this mean that both formal challenges were satisfied?

Laf. Sorry if that sounds too confusing. What I'm basically asking is can two formal challenges cancel each other out?

I'd handle them on a first-come, first-serve basis. And they wouldn't cancel. But it's your tourney!

From a strict logical point of view, yes they are.

But in my opinion it's not fair! :-?

A single team skips TWO challenges turning the opponents one against the other... :o
