Do you like Star Players?

I hate them with every fiber of my body and hope never to see them again in any way, shape or form. Everyone should have to build their own star players.

to get that right: I voted for yes because I tend more that way.

For a one-off they are fun.

For a tournament they can be helpful, too. Go ahead, take Varag, if you can afford him. I like that option.

It may be the only chance to get a vampire in your team if you only use the "official 15" teams, and I like that one as well. Alsoret weapons, but I hope I got this correct that there will be a change to secret weapons in the near future.

In a league as freebooters. so lala. Some teams don't have that choice as others have. At least that should be a bit more balanced. And since freebooting is rare, I think they are o.k. House rules get this one sorted out.

Since more of me is pro stars and I only got two options to vote I go for yes

When i dislike star players.

Star players is a major way to play beardy, it's a kind of lazy strategy.

OK I voted yes, I see them as an Important part of BB history,
However I hate to see them In league play Its just pointless.
But as an exabition game to introduce new guys to the game I have no problem with them.
One offs Ok
League play No way.

The minis are great! The rules suck, always have and always will. There is just no way to write fair rules for free game winners.

I voted "no", but the only exception is that I do like the Goblin Star Players, because they are (to me) an important part of the team.

However, once there's Secret Weapon rules again (as opposed to them only being available on Star Players) I don't see the need for them, on the Goblin team.

Fine. I'll just kill him anyway. Griff sucks. All he's (sorta) good for is scoring, which if you're scoring with a star you're ruining your team.

I think I've mentioned on here before that my friend Steve and I have never allowed Griff to survive a game we've played where our opponent fielded him. This is out of 7 or 8 games. Dead every time.

So please, field Griff!!! Just don't field Count Luthor or some other actual USEFUL star player.
