How to run a 7 game series

Post by Minigiant »

So my friend and I are currently left with only each other to play bloodbowl over the summer so i had a thought we both liked, why dont we run a 7 game series (best of 7, just like the stanley cup etc).

Anyway we could both use your help on how to run it. How much money should we start with? any starting skills?

My initial thoughts were 1,200K and 4 Skills

What do you think?

Mini league - Start at 1M, earn SPPs, play 7 games, done.

Mini resurection tourney - Start at whatever level you want (1.05, 1.1, 1.2 etc), add X skills, play 7 games, done.

It's just you and a mate - do what ever you want :)

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.
Bribe level: good coffee.

I think it's more fun to start with base rosters and let the teams change as the series goes along. It's somewhat dependent on which teams are being played, though. Some are not super fun at low level, especially if you're only playing against a team that is good from the start.

Well it is Dwarfs versus Dark Elves

That's fair enough. Would expect the elves to level up faster, but they'd also be starting with fewer positionals and rerolls.
