BB2 Full listof changes to crp
Edit this thread got a little side tracked so Sann is compiling this list to keep thingsa bit easier to follow
http://www.thenaf.net/blood-bowl/online/bb2/
Can someone tell us all the changes cyanide made to crp in one place please?
So far I can see.
Av8 to human catchers which I'm not bothered about, cheaper ogre (I believe) which is good.
Some stadium rules sound like good additions others sound terrible.
The laughably bad excuse for a bretonnian roster. My God what we're they thinking.....
Are there any others ? And exactly how does the stadium stuff work?

90k Orc Blitzers
Many skills not optional
Bank at 150k
Ageing (players have a chance to retire after ~80 games, the chance increasing as games are played)
Marketplace
Stadium Upgrades (requires a "level 2 stadium" for 100k then another 100k to purchase:

Re: BB2 Full listof changes to crp
Thank you for that list, my comments in red above. Seems like they have really gone to town with the changes, some are pretty terrible. Also it says Chef is 100k on their web site now, is this for everyone or is it just a mistake on their site, also any nerfs or changes to skill functionality?dode74 wrote:90k Orc Blitzersabout time they were the same as human blitzers
Many skills not optional Is this just a bug or have they changed the rules?
Bank at 150k Personally I don't like it because it hurts the weakest teams in the game like halflings and vampires more than Elves or Dwarves for example, but its not that bad.
Ageing (players have a chance to retire after ~80 games, the chance increasing as games are played) They brought ageing back? did they nerf CPOMB? also how does it work?
Marketplace How does it work?
Stadium Upgrades (requires a "level 2 stadium" for 100k then another 100k to purchase: Do these add to a teams TV? also what happens if one team has astrogranite and the other has elf turf? or is there a home team now? infact would you mind explaining exatly how this all works?great
- Referee Rest Area: Both teams receive 1 bribe fine
Astrogranite: +1 to Armor Rolls from failed GFIs fine though should be for everything really
ElfTurf: -1 to Armor Rolls from failed GFIs fine though should be for everything really
Royal Box: Doubles all gains and losses of Fan Factor fine
Squig Sandwich Stand: Throw a Rock and Get the Ref events are cancelled fine
Nuffle altar: Star players cost $50,000 less. erm what???? this is pretty stupid, Goblins have 1 star player that is 60k so will now only be 10k? HAHA
Magic Dome: The Weather always starts as Nice and Changing Weather kickoff event is cancelled. fine
Magician's Shop: Both teams get a wizard. WTF terrible, should be a wizard cancelling pitch not a gain a wizard
Security Gate: Riot and Pitch Invasion kick-off events are cancelled fine
Beer Stand: +1 on Inj Rolls for players pushed off pitch.
There may be more.
Thanks,
G

Re: BB2 Full listof changes to crp
Ageing, as far as I read it on their website:
A newly recruited player is about 17 to 19 years old.
Every 8 matches a years has passed in ingame time.
At age 31, there is a 40 % chance of him retiring.
At age 32, the chance of him retiring gets up to 60 %.
At age 33, the player retires, no matter what.
So, in a worst case scenario, your player starts at age 19 und retires at age 31.
31 - 19 = 12 years. 12 x 8 = 96 matches.
Best case scenario, player start with 17 and retires at age 33.
33 - 17 = 16 years. 16 x 8 = 128 matches.

Re: BB2 Full listof changes to crp
So players can only play 128 matches ever, after which they are retired. Pfft this is stupid. Also what about undead players, do they age? and do elves and dwarves live the same length of time as humans? deary me....Regash wrote:Ageing, as far as I read it on their website:

You can supplement your inducement allowance with treasury.

Many bugs, but because Cyanide/Focus are doing their usual "no communication" it's impossible to know if some differences are errors, bugs or intended.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Whoa, what?Gaixo wrote:You can supplement your inducement allowance with treasury.
Oh for crying out loud, I hope you're not serious. Can you imagine the disputes that's going to cause in league play if some people assume that's the way it should be handled normally?
Like the job of a commish isn't hard enough as it is.

Yeah, back to sneak hiring sigh.... Also there is a bug with this. I saw the low tv team declaring first after which the high tv team went.Shteve0 wrote:Whoa, what?Gaixo wrote:You can supplement your inducement allowance with treasury.

That, and the fact that the journeymen are being added to the team AFTER TV matching has done its job, are helping make this one giant f*ckball.garion wrote:I saw the low tv team declaring first after which the high tv team went.

Using money from treasury for inducements is the bank rule.
