Upcoming Games
Arctic Cragspiders vs. Athelorn Avengers
Nurgle's Rotters vs. Orcland Raiders

Top 4 teams in standings already made next week's playoffs. We prefer very short seasons with occasional "opens" sprinkled in.
Teams:
Orcland Raiders: These guys are on fire. With the deepest bench, the strongest starters, and an impressive TTM squad, the Orcs are favored to win the Frost Bowl. They are also one of two teams that haven't had a player killed yet. Captained by likely MVP Veteran Blitzer Gert Dakka, the Green tide has made an impressive showing, with their only loss coming against Athelorn.
Athelorn Avengers
The Wood Elves have been running an impressive season, considering they used Journeymen in four of their six games. They opted to grab a Treeman before catchers, an odd move at best, but so far it has greatly payed off. With one of the most aggressive defenses in the league, the Avengers even managed to beat the Raiders, and their only loss came from an upset against the Cragspiders. Legolas, the Experienced thrower and team captain, leads the league with nine completions, averaging 1.8 per game, silencing critics who booed the choice of taking a thrower. However, the brightest star on the team was the most unlikely. A wood elf lineman, Laysta Pine, is the only Veteran on the team, and has scored two touchdowns.
Dwarf Giants
The team started off good, but back to back losses in weeks three and four hurt them bad, including an injured runner in game four. However, having a week to recuperate by playing the Ogres helped them get back on their feet, and strong leadership by team captain runner Fili led them to a 2-0 rout of the Reikland Reavers to close out the regular season. The momentum is high, and depending on how the next games go, the Giants will either face the Avengers or the Raiders, both teams they lost to, yet they are undeterred. Their only issue is their bench, which consists of just one Blocker, but if they play the Avenger first, this shouldn't be much of a problem.
Reikland Reavers
The fact that they are even in the playoffs is amazing, and a true testament to the strength of their team. They tie with the Ogres for most players killed with three. Think about that for a moment. And the three dead snotlings together don't even approach the value of the lowest TV player (90k). That's right, 340k value of players dead. In week one, Og Dakison, the Ogre, was killed by Amazon Blitzers. His son has now joined the team, and caused severe pain in his first game, which also happened to be against Amazons. In that game, week five, experienced Blitzer Dieter Blunt was killed by the Amazons as well. And in the next game against the Giants, experienced Thrower Johannes Broheim was killed by the Dwarves in the 0-2 loss. The Reavers managed to buy back the Blitzer, but without a Thrower, the Lineman are finally going to have to pick up the slack. Captain Blitzer Heimdall Roid spoke about the unfortunate losses: "That's Blood Bowl guys. The Amazons have killed two, so we gotta kill four. The Dwarves killed one, let's kill them in the playoffs." The game against the Giants set a Frost League Record as well. The Reavers only had three players on the field during one drive, to the Dwarves full lineup. Seven players were in the KO box, including Star Player Freelancer Puggy Baconbreath, and a Blitzer was out for the game. As the Reavers limp into the playoffs, we don't expect much from them.

Arctic Cragspiders
When their Runner scored eight SPP in his first game, only to die at the end, we all knew where this was going. Their one highlight to balance out the lowlights was the upset against the Avengers, which happens to be their only win. Their other highlight was overtime against the Giants, which consisted of six turns of players failing to pick the ball up, followed by a deep bomb from a Dwarf Runner with seconds left to hand the Norse another loss (2 to 3) on the most miserable game in history. With no real amazing player, the Norse face potential elimination from the league if they don't get an act together.
Jlaxonkill Jaguars
At least they are fun to watch. There final game of the season was their first win, and it wasn't pretty. The Jags scraped out a win against Oldheim, in probably the second most miserable game in history. However, their kill rate is good (because they play the Reavers so much), so they'll stick around, despite their horrid passing game, pathetic caging, and porous defense.
Nurgle's Rotters
This team has the best roster in the league, but the lack of Block is hurting them. The entire season has been spent buying the three remaining Pestigors, and in the first game with the full squad, the Rotters picks up their first win against the Jags in a 3-0 rout. Look for them at the top next year.
Rotters scoring weeks 1-4: 1 TD
Rotters scoring Week 5: 3 TD
More later!

Oldheim Ogres
The Ogres should've done better this year. Their one game that they won, they used TTM a lot. They never used it more than once a game again. When asked about this, the coach said"We are preparing for the long term. We need to save money, so no more Snot chuck.
