Quick question: Do we know of any GW ppl checking these forums? There IS a pretty big fanbase worldwide (compared to the other OOP games at least) and it would be prudent of them to cater a tiny bit to fans. I suspect this change could split players 50/50 into old and new BB'ers.

I pray they don't go to a solely resin release.

I loathe resin. I want my models to have weight, without having to fidget with the base weight.

Does GW have any metal minis in their current offerings? I'm with you ddancer I like my miniatures to have weight to them but I think GW will make them all in resin.

Some of the mail order only figures from older ranges are still in metal (dwarf lords of legend, chaos champions, Imperial Guard tank crew), but they're steadily becoming more and more scarce.

There's a pretty big fanbase for many of the old games, just they don't have a players association.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

I'm a British Freebooter, will play for any team including Undead (I have my own Apothecary). Good rates.

Yeah, when GW dropped the ball, everyone found a new home.

I could keep on... all you have is to do a search if you don't already have it in bookmarks.

And this shows GW is in tricky position. The games continued after they did not care, so now they better play nice, because there is proof they are not really needed. Welcomed, yes, if they behave, but things already grown up. Players kept old things going, new companies introduced new products. GW wants money, they will have to earn it.
