Only the box artwork looking exacly like the Cyanide artwork makes me worry a bit.

au contraire! This in combination with the speed in the project tells me loudly that there will be no considerable changes to the gameRegash wrote:Oh, wow...

I'm a British Freebooter, will play for any team including Undead (I have my own Apothecary). Good rates.

Re: New FW Set
Although the models and concepts were on the FW stand, Blood Bowl will be the first game published by the relaunched Specialist Games. The box is "probably" less than 12 months away from release, with the orc and human shown concepts.
The rules haven't yet seen any development, but won't stray too far from previous editions (although probably not the Tournament Edition or linked to Cyanide). The contents will include plastic humans and orcs, both digitally sculpted. There may be 4-6 other teams released in resin.

New FW Set
Ugh looks like 30mm bases though, which would result in larger fields.. I must admit I really don't like the sizecreep:(( also I really don't think the human thrower is anything special

In the other thread I just mentioned that if the bases are 32mm, the orc is not too big. So maybe the new scale creep is wide not tall?

BB is best played at 40mm anyway. Scale creep doesn't bother me in the least as I haven't played on a junior board in at least a decade. Just saying. S.

HAHA! Yours is smaller still then! Anyway a LONG way to go to that, and no matter, I've made bigger boards than 40mm. Bigger boards means bigger tables which means bigger venues which means more money

More or lesss what frogboy said -
Bigger boards means the board wont fit many available tables if playing the board with the shortsides towards the players.

Re: New FW Set
exactly.. 40mm fields are too big for my gaming table.. all things considered BB is a pretty large game already.frogboy wrote:Bigger boards means bigger tables which means bigger venues which means more money
