Team Logo's and photoshop.

Post by bizzydog217 »

I stink at photoshop or editing pictures to make a good looking team logo. If anyone here is good at doing this sort of thing and is willing to do it from an existing picture or a custom design I would be appreciative. I don't have any sort of way to compensate you besides giving you credit when I use the image. All skill levels welcome and I am not overly critical and I have no problem with you utilizing your creativity and freedom just following a basic idea. If you are interested either reply here or inbox me and we can discuss it further, hopefully I'll find someone who has a passion for this and I can get my logo(s)

I'll check it out. My biggest problem is I find a logo I LOVE on google images, but it might have text I want to change, or just modify and sadly I can't because I don't know what I'm doing haha.

For me, the guide on FUMBBL produces an error message... :?:

If or if not I could help depends on the image and the changes to be made.
So, link the image and tell me what needs to be done, then I'll tell ya what I can do.

Not sure how Fumbbl permissions work if you are not logged in.

A goblin seems to have gotten his grotty little hands on the page you have requested.

It is likely to never be seen again.

And you probably wouldn't want it back anyway.

This is the link https://sr.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%94%D0 ... s_Logo.jpg

I wanted to change the word Werewolves to Blitzrifters. To me it isn't the "easiest" job in the world, but it shouldn't be horribly difficult either. Let me know if you can do it or not.

There is a public copy in forum https://fumbbl.com/index.php?name=PNphp ... c&p=622222

The "notes" link works if logged, and returns nonsense (not found is not the same than no auth) if not. In https://fumbbl.com/help:Individual+Contributions all other FUMBBL pages are stored as "help:", why that is an exception? *shrug*

Oh wow, that is quite a task, probably beyond my skills.
The fact that the picture is showing between the letters makes it very hard to change.

Maybe, if there was a logo without the letters...

I'll look into it but I can't promise any results.

This is gonna be a rough and tumble tutorial, but if you have a bit of software knowledge you'll be ok.

Do you have photoshop?

If you do, open the picture.

right click on the layer in the layer viewer/window. Duplicate the layer with the logo, so you keep the original.

use the lasso tool and delete to cut away the old name on the duplicated text.

press T to make a text layer and click on the logo around where you want it. Font, color and sizes are in the top of the screen. and write your team name. In order to finalize the text, you have to navigate to another layer in the layer viewer. You can then move the layer around afterwards to place it properly with the move tool.

Then rightclick in the layer viewer on the text layer and press "blending options" there should be a tickbox called "outline" in that section you can play with thickness and color of the outline.

P.S: it looks a bit like a harry potter font.. There are free ones here http://www.1001fonts.com/harry-potter-fonts.html
