And not a ruler in sight ...

The models look pretty huge. Oddly, the field looks a little on the small side, but with no reference it's difficult to see.

There's a ruler on the picture of the pitch to the side (you might have mistaken it for a sprue).
There's a closer pic of it further down the page.

Sorry, by "Ruler" I meant the kind used for measuring, with lines (either in cm or inches would be fine).

Or side-by-side comparisons of the original plastic teams with the new ones. Just so I know if my existing figures and fields are the same scale as the new stuff.

New pitch is bigger, 32mm squares I believe. Models are bigger scale to.

Rules and board haven't changed, just the board and pass ruler (and players) scaled up.

I can live with a 3mm pet square increase in board size.

it adds up, that's more than 2 inches added to the total board length.

Just checked, it will overhang my dining table. Playing in the kitchen from now on!

Well, a 3mm square increase is better than going up to 40mm. I would prefer that the board stay as it is, but I can live with a relatively small increase.

Looks like there is only 2 block dice in each set. 3DB may be in trouble :P

I noticed that, too. I assume 3DBs are still possible, you just have to borrow one of the other coach's dice! :-)

We're 100% sure now that the rules won't be changing in the new set, just some additional optional fru-fru?

Is there anyway to confirm the size of the squares for certain? I can put some gears in motion but only if I know the exact scale.
