My custom rulebook cover

Post by birdman37 »

Having finally got my hands on a PDF of Icepelt that was acceptable to lulu.com, I'm going to be printing out a couple of copies for personal use. However, rather than use the old cover art, I thought I'd replace it with something a little more dear to my heart...

The above is an illustration of two players on my current Orc team: Stony Ardbutt and Snotworth Junkpuncher.

Admittedly, the illustration is a little inaccurate: it's a rare occasion when they actually pull this manoeuvre off successfully, and to date it has only ever worked when Snotty doesn't have the ball and I don't actually care whether he lands or not. Still, he hasn't been eaten yet, so that's something, I suppose.

One day, that elusive 1TDD will be theirs to achieve and celebrate. Hopefully before Stony gets too hungry...

It is a nice picture athough I think the Goblin should be a little but further down so you can read the word "Bowl".
Did you draw it yourself?

Thanks for the compliments, all. Yes, I did draw it myself.

If I put him any further down the trajectory and angle at which he's drawn looks wrong. The rule book's for personal use only, so I know what the obscured word is. :)

And here's the back cover:

The printed book arrived the other day, and looks pretty good, all things considered!

Lucky for me, it appears the rules aren't changing with the new edition, so I'll be able to continue using it after the release!
