Help me with the Mike Kriger Mamorial Cup

Post by bound for glory »

As many here know, I have been running a tournement dedicated to my cousin and dear friend, Mike.

My health is not up to continuing the event.

Over the years, many have helped our event and what I am tring to do is make this Octobers get togeather the best.

I don't mean to beg for prize donations here, but I guess I am.

If anyone wants to donate a painted figure, not wanted unpainted figure, ANYTHING fantasy football, let me know.

In return, I can offer my Wild Thing figures. I want this last Cup to be a good one, and the last 2 years have had me digging into my collection to provide gifts, which is fine bye me, but now I'm at the point of no return, and I honestly need help.

Please don't be affraid to tell me you need me to pay for something(within reason). Heck, I'll even reemburse you for shipping, if need be. I want everyone who attends to walk away with a gift, so if you have something, let know.

The event is on October 29th, so let me know. Thank you in advance.

I'll send you a box with something to give each player as well as a prize for a top finisher. Will be in the mail on Monday.

I reckon I can send you some stuff too if you would like more. Perhaps you can have an auction in the manner of ThrudBowl to raise some more money for your charity?

Can you PM me your address please?

Sort of unfortunate that there's another (sanctioned) tournament an hour away on the same date. :-?

Well, our event was always going to be NAF'ED so to speak, but early on we decided to make it more of a "beginners" tourney.

I do want to let all who are interested know, my WilD Things series will continue, with 75% of proceeds going to the Wounded Warrior Fund.

My wife and I, along with the Thursday Night Hero's, want to continue to remember Mike by giving to this important charity.
