Bretonnian & Khorne

Post by Flick30 »

May as well ask here I cannot seem to find a post similar about it.

What's people thought at what tier Khone and bretonnian are?
They cannot be registered with the NAF as yet but would people mind them at NAF tournaments?

Picture below is how the current break down of tier is.

People seem to get pissed off wen they have tp play someone who is not a NAF member, so they can't have their match included in their NAF stats.
What do you think would those people like more about not getting their stats because of the team can't be registered?
And, as far as I know, those teams aren't NAF sanctioned so how can you have them at a NAF tournament?

As for your question about tiers, I have no clue as I haven't played against or with neither Khorne nor Bretonian, so I have no clue about how they turn out.

No thanks to either of them.

And if you do a search you'll see this has been discussed quite a few times. ;)

I can kind of understand why Khorne can't be included. As beat-em-up teams go, they're top tier.

Bretonnian, though, I'm less sure. They're really just a team that's mildly irritating to play against, just like the Slann team. They don't play like a standard team.

Well done in terms of Defensiveness.

That grouping is a little odd, why are high and pro elves in 3 whilst khemri are in 2? Though it does depend on if this is NAF tourneys rather than leagues only and what special rules you have.

From what I've seen the general consensus is that Bretts and khorne would be tier 3 of the listing you gave. Though Bretts would probably be decent at NAF style tourneys with all the block/wrestle they could take and some nice cheap fodder for fouling and making up the numbers, so maybe tier 2.

I'd say Brets tier 2. Khorne tier 3.

If you have nothing to add, add nothing.

That tiering is a bit odd, it's one Pippy used for Monkeybowl and makes more sense in conjunction with the skill selection rules.

Where are the unofficial "official" Khorne and Bret lists?

Found a link on The NAF website - http://www.thenaf.net/wp-content/upload ... s20151.pdf

But there are other lists with various rules kicking about, like this one on FUMBBL for example - https://fumbbl.com/help:KhorneDt

The NAF lists are the official unofficial ones - taken from Cyanide for Brets and Khorne, and Fumbbl for apes. Bret blitzers need A access adding.

Thanks :orc:

May as well ask this now then...

But what will happen when GW drop Cynide, will anything explode?

I would try out Brets as tier 2

and Khorne as tier 3

Actually, given the grouping described above, I think Brets might even belong in your tier 1.
IMO a handful of your tier 1 could be lifted up to a tier 0. Brets would not be among those.
Where to draw the line on a would-be Group 0 is hard. But I'd say Wood Elfs, Undead and Lizardmen.

Cheers

You are quite right and is using the same skill set up as I liked it.

Looks like for now not going to be able to use them, but hopefully soon.
