Really like these new league rules because for one thing they are NEW and I like new things, but more so I love how fluffy they are and really inkeeping with the flavour of BB. :)

+1 help per player nearby to get a player up who cannot normally (trees). Read that one. Want exact wording?

Got my boxed set, deathzone and skaven team. Sadly missed out on the skaven dice as looks like there is just 2 per store and I was like the 3rd or 4th person in mine. :(

Now time to scour the new rules and start playing with the new models.

My copy arrived today. Really don't like the range ruler and templates. I can see the range ruler being easily broken. Don't know why they thought that design was a good idea.
Also upon seeing the miniatures in person I don't think much of them. They're going to go on eBay in a day or two

If Wood Elves want to give up their biggest advantage (speed and mobility) in order to hang back and babysit the slowest, least mobile player in the game, I'm happy to see it! Especially as my usual tactic against Wood Elf treemen is to either ignore them entirely, or give them a lineman to play with until they root, and then ignore them. Either way, the tree stands there making mulch in the middle of the field, not generally getting knocked down, while the Wood Elves are sacking my ball carrier with one less useful player on the field.

Anyway! I see that rule as a seriously minor change, which is a medium boost to Halflings (a team which needs a boost) and a tiny, tiny bonus to some Wood Elf teams every couple games or so.

Just noticed that in my copy of death zone wood elf linemen are only 7000 gp each. I think I'll be paying woodies
