Gutter Runners get new skill in new edition...

Standout item for me was that GRs get a new skill called Weeping Dagger (extraordinary) that allows them to re-roll a BH injury they inflict.

Other important things:

1) pdf with all rosters at launch
2) that includes Underworld and Pact but not Slann
3) lots of new rules for leagues including players getting bored and needing to be rebought

Blimey. I hope they give Weeping Dagger to Skitter!

Haven't listed to the podcast yet. No massive effect on tournaments, and all rules are optional in leagues.

Bit odd to boost gutters, they are already one of the best players in the game and a huge bargain.

Still, not too game breaking as you'd need quite a few stats and/or doubles to turn them into killers.

I wonder if (and if not, why not) DElf assassins will get that too. Would actually be a nice boost to a much worse positional.

It would be interesting to see how that would synergy with league bounties. Might make the DElf Assassin worth taking if he was generating cash.

If gutter can reroll Bh i think gw will increase their prices..

Why?

I don't see the huge benefit everyone else sees.

Yes, your opponent has a chance of getting your player MNG, SI or killed, but therefore he/she has to spend a lot of TV on a fragile player.
To be honest, I'd rather see that than wrestle, strip ball, two heads etc or big hand, two heads etc.

A killer gutter isn't that safe with st2 and me blizting with a st3 tackle piece.
It can be removed through a blitz or a foul. Sure, my opponent can protect the gutter, but then it's not really used and just wasted TV

I don't see it as being much of a change really. Seems odd that the reason for introducing it was the presence of a partially concealed dagger on the Gutter mini.

It will make very little difference - how often are the GRs the players to get CAS on a Skaven team?

It`s rather one of many ways to play Blood Bowl, but giving it a roleplay note is nothing we haven`t been doing in my BB environment anyway.

The rule in combination with an optionality of Piling On will mostly affect Ogre teams. It takes one of their big bonuses away and makes their fragile players even mor likely to die. Then again...it`s just snotlings :P

okay, so the combo MB/PO+claw is jut broken, but once a player is BH he cant get hurt anymore.
this skill is just there to annoy other coaches...
it might have made sense in an undead team where you can get a zombie on a dead, but on skaven.
thats a very big FU to opposing coaches.
am i alone in this?
