What's GW's stance in using 3rd-party minis in Bugmans?

Post by dfunkateer »

Yo,

does anyone know if GW are bothered about people using third party minis in Bugman's?

I know they only allow GW minis at official tourneys but what about a casual game over a pint or 5?

Ta,

Dave.

Their house, their rules. I would suggest not doing it.

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.

They don't allow it. But they are fairly open about general stuff from other companies. They aren't fussed about pitches from elsewhere, tokens, even sideline stuff within reason, stuff like that.
They won't kick you out for using stuff from another company, but you will be asked politely to put it away.

Guessing you're at WHW on Friday?

Thanks for the replies everyone.

I am still seriously considering taking flings to the nafc and was hoping to get a practice game in with them on Friday at WHW although I guess that won't happen. If I decide to take them I'll get 6 practice games with them this weekend after all so it's no big loss if I can't use them on Friday :)

mikeyc - I already have some orders to collect and have heard rumours of only being able to buy a limited quantity of them, but if I can help you out, I will.
