Bit late to the party, but I quite liked how BB2 did it. All blocks are pows, but no armour is rolled.

Until I see somebody rolling a half a die, it will be two dice uphill for me. Of course, this is coming from the one person in the world who prefers calling a pow a splat.

It's only a "splat" if the armor breaks. ;)

It's funny how it is a actually "Defender Down", but we always call it "pow" or sometimes "POW!". I think at one point I tried using the correct terminology in the league, but it never caught on.
