+1 so much!

Maybe we should start a Kickstarter project to rent a billboard showing exactly this post right in front of GW corporate HQ.

(Or, you know, a Kickstarter project to hire a sculptor to make compatible Orcs and Humans) ;)

Haha yes, and I would pay more than Forge World prices for it just to have it finished.

I thought I had read that the Pogoer, Ooligan, and Doom Diver would likely be released together in another 'Special Weapons' pack. That would make sense to me.

Deathrain, good point about releasing a Chaos Chosen team which could be used to also make a Nurgle team. Maybe they could swing a multipart kit like the Pro Elves and either throw in Nurgle parts or a Nurgle add-on later. With the stats for a new Nurgle Star Player out there, I thought for sure we would have a Nurgle team by now. Maybe they wanted to wait until the WH release.

Anyone have links to pics of the 'new Troll'?

JT-Y,

We _do_ know the next release is Nurgle, as it is the only team which concept art was on display when Blood Bowl was originally released which we have not yet seen. That is, we saw concept art for:
* Humans
* Dwarves
* Orcs
* Skaven
* Elves
* Morg N' Thorg
...and Nurgle.

Here's the concepts:

And possibly most disturbingly,

And from Games Workshop themselves... (some people don't follow along)

Not sure who you're referring to, I've seen that photo last autumn (if I remember correctly), but my goblin team still just got one troll.

Might have been me, as I don't tend to follow all the GW news, and hadn't seen the pic yet. Can't say I'm too impressed with the pose and the foot club. On the plus side, he's not covering his face?! I'll just stick with the Willy Trolls.

That Nurgle concept art doesn't fit the roster they released at all, though. Haven't seen the art for teams that are now released, but this seems very far away from a finished product.

Deathrain, The concept art was developed back in January 2016 - check the pictures again. The Nurgle roster hasn't changed since LRB 6, just some name changes. Yes, some of the comments don't match current positions, but that is concept art, and it's been tried and true so far since we first saw them. Compare the concept art on the dwarves, elves, humans, orcs, skaven and star players and you'll see it's been extremely accurate thus far.

Compare to what we got.

Compared to what we got those are Human Blitzers (got those), Black Orcs (yep), and Troll Slayers. There is no such thing as a Nurgle Thrower. The Nurgle Blitzer could be repurposed as Bloater and I am pretty sure the new star player will be an upcoming release, but key players are missing from this artwork which would need to be created. Pestigors, Rotters, and the large abomination are all missing, and at least the former two need to be availiable for a team release. They also (unlike the human Blitzer for example) are radicaly different from the others, so they need more work.

Concept art isn't the final thing.

Holy Christ..... it’s concept art people!!!! It’s not the final sculpt/name or anything. They could draw a bunch of Dwarfs that look awesome and call them “Dwarf Nancies” or “Dwarf Catchers” and people would lose their shit. The amount of nerd is overwhelming sometimes.....

Aside from goblins (who sort of do with weapons) GW have yet to release a team that has different races instead of positionals such as nurgle, undead, chaos or lizardmen.

So i could certainly see them making a "thrower" rotter, a player in a throwing pose that is still a normal rotter, to add some variety to them. If all the warriors, beastmen and rotters are static or kind of shambling then it will be a bit dull, especially when you have 2 identical versions.
