"I can't believe it not's not Nurgle....!!"

Hmm, the Beastmen are okay, but the Chaos Warriors (I forget what they got renamed as) don't look that great to me. I prefer the more heavily armored look from before. Guess I'll wait and judge when pics are released later.

I'm less surprised that it isn't Nurgle.

No surprise that I like the Chosen, they combine Warhammer and football very well for me.
The Gors are amazing. I've always liked Beastmen in general and Tom (the sculptor) did an amazing job on these.

Told you there'd be news soon. We'll have more as well I'm sure ;)

Beastmen look nice but the warriors look like pin heads to me. They may look nice in real life but I'm not sure at the moment.

What is the content? 4 Warriors and 8 Beastman?

The YouTube video (found here) seems to suggest it's only three Warriors. A few people in the Blood Bowl Facebook group have quickly pointed out that only having three wouldn't make sense, due to it needing to be an even number to split between sprues (as they've done, so far).

Another possibility is that it's a sprue/s of X amount of Beastmen and a sprue of 3 Warriors. I know that sounds stupid and doubt it's the case, but given the limitations of most of the other releases (only two Gutter Runners, two Black Orcs, two human Blitzers etc.), I wouldn't rule it out! I'm hoping there's just a fourth warrior in the video that's tough to spot - more than happy to be wrong on this one!

Edit: sniped by JT-Y, but good to know!

We tried putting 3 warriors on two identical sprues, but the third one looked funny. And the ninth Beastman was proper weird looking. So we did it the easy way.

With regards to the Spike magazine, presumaly by "new teams that means fearuring the the Chaos Chosen from the teams of legend?
.....or does it mean not on the teams of legend new?
....or is it more an article about team creation in the first place?

Time will tell, I can't yet. Which is a shame because I'm pretty pleased with Spike! Journal, I hope you lot will be as well.

This is an outrage. I was very reliably informed that the next team was DEFINITELY going to be Nurgle. I don’t know what to believe anymore. TFF has failed me.

The beastmen look really cool and dynamic which is good to see. Am not sure about the chaos warriors, will need to have a proper look at better pictures first.

I do like that Gw have gone away from the WHFB (AoS) soldiers on the pitch from 3rd edition. They just might not be chaotic enough. Maybe some head swaps will work?

I'll be buying them anyway and any dice that come out for them. Haven't done a generic chaos team yet and at the very least they will make useful conversion parts.

On an unrelated note the Van Saar gang looks awesome.

I really like the new Chaos team. While the less armoured look of the Warriors took me aback initially, it has grown on me a lot. On top of the affordable cost its a day 1 buy from me.

I am absolutely over the moon that Lord Borak is returning but I hope visually he resembles his old tin canned self somewhat, horns, helm and spikes.

Is there an ETA for Spike! Magazine?

They do, all the credit for which belongs to the sculptor, Dave Thomas.
