I don't know the lore, so this will possibly be a stupid question. Are the new Idoneth Deepkin that got released, 'revamped Sea Elves'? Or are they something else?

It looks like they don't have any hair, and have all white skin. Which makes me wonder why Eldril looks different from the rest?

Anyways, looking forward to hearing more news from across the pond. And hopefully the Chaos pitch is getting close to a release.

I don't have anything to do with AoS writing so am not best placed to comment. BB is very much a thing apart from the Mortal Realms.
The Idoneth background is well worth a read though.

Presumably that will be 1 witch, 1 assassin, 1 blitzer, 1 runner and 2 linemen per sprue?

Models look like they have good crossover with the pro elf set

Tell me too! It is illogically insane they have not been "legalised" along with Renegades (Pact) and Underworld. What's the difference between a bunch of frogmen playing and a bunch of ratmen / lizardmen / beastmen, etc or in fact any other race playing?

The reason I am so pro Slann is because back in 1990/ 91 I got into GW and 40k. Me and my mates bought rouge trader and all my friends were I'm collecting Space Marines, I'm collecting, Eldar, I'm getting Orks. Me, due to my love and interest of amphibians (frogs in particular), I was draw to these few pics of space frogs with laser guns. Yes, that is what I want. They are cool. So I went down to my local GW store only to be told they don't sell / make them any more. I get back into BB in late 2012 after leaving it some point during the 3rd edition rules only to find Slann are a team so I can finally have my frogman army (or rather now team). Hell yeah! Now, I know it's GW's game and their rules and they make the end decisions but I (and many, many others like me) just want to know why GW are so anti Slann in BB. There is no genuine reason other than just because (which isn't a reason and totally infuriating rubbish)

Having said this:
1) I can play Slann in pretty much any other league in the world so GW not officialising them is of no real concern (just extremely frustrating ). It just would be unbelievably amazingly cool to see a Spike! magazine all about them, see new art work for them, to see a Lustria Croakers team box set (which would sell like god knows what!), and to be able to use them in a GW tournament should I fancy to do so (as with any other team currently in print).
2) keep up the excellent work JT-Y and co. While there a one or two things I'm not so keen on that have come out, I am liking 99.9 % of the new stuff and as with everyone else look forward to seeing each new piece of art work or team / star player teaser

It's going to be an expensive year...

I think I'm sold on every model I've seen previewed today. Loving the DElves - great aesthetic - a nod to previous editions with the helmets but then a nice new touch with what I presume are cold one skins. The runner (assuming the helmet-less one is the runner) is probably the biggest question mark - looks almost as if he has a pet wrapped around him (...or is it a face hugger?!)

The witch elf is fab - and from the promo video it looks as if there will be an alternate hand. Perhaps its the shorts, but GW have somehow managed not to make the model look hyper-sexualised whilst she still demands attention!

Looks like at least one linewoman too

The Assassins look cool enough to warrant getting even if there is debate on their usefulness....wondering if they will be packaged with two alternate blitzers. Not sure I'd ever have more than one assassin in a team, so could potentially use one as Horkon


I also find myself looking at the AOS spell models could be utilised in BB too

What is with the tentacle side of the dark elf board?

They seem to demand far too much attention to be simply have no effect on the game?

The other side looks class though as do the dice and the models.

The dark elves box has two runners, two which, two blitzers, and six linemen. There is a boost pack with the assassins (and I imagine that the two other blitzers).

Moreover, there are pictures of Roxanna, Eldril, the twins elves, and cheerleaders for different races.
