If there could only be one team...

Post by Digger Goreman »

... you could save from "the fire" and play, what would it be?

Elaborate, if you like....

Obviously Necros for me! Still huge monster genre fan.... :orc: :smoking:

... and the play style is suitable.... Won't win tournaments.... but not an issue.... 8)

I enjoy playing Orcs and Norse very much.
If I had to decide between these two... :|

Orcs, Regash, yeah... I could see you as an Orc

Oscen.... Definitely carte blanche :)

I would have to say Humans. I love their Jack-of-all-trades setup. So many different ways to build them.

You are either INSANE, or one of the greatest coaches ever!

If? What do you mean, if? There is only one team, and that team is Khemri. Sing it with me:
Oh,
AG4 is broken,
AG3's OP,
AG2's the one true way
That Blood Bowl ought to be.

Well, not to toot my own horn but I am NOT one of the greatest coaches ever. I have loved playing with the 'Flings ever since they first came out. You KNOW you are blessed by Nuffle when you win with a play that needs a bajillion die rolls. Although the lows of losing aren't fun, the highs of winning are unmatched by victories with any other team.

If you cannot stall out for an 8 turn drive to score with dwarves then you need to go and play canasta with your dad..if you can find him.

Very tempted by Khemri, but Underworld do have a bit of something for everyone so I think they just tip the balance. You've got stunties, amazing skill access, a troll, fun star players and a 1TTD chance. What's not to love?

I think Heff will be dropping off some Lego Dwarves in to the fire before rescuing his team.

I will be saving High Elves they nearly got killed once to get "Pro" elves, long may they reign!

I end up burning in the fire, as I choose between which teams I really like to play, which ones took me too damned long to paint and I never want to paint again (Dwarves!), and which ones I really want to paint. Add in a mix of minis that are harder to find...

Oh yea, so I'd have to grab the Chaos Pact team I've collected. They aren't impossible to find on Ebay, but it did take some hunting. I also enjoyed playing Chaos Renegades when I tried them. Second would probably be Dark Elves. Cool looking and can be fun to play.

I think I would go with Dark Elves. They can play both Bash and Dash style games depending on opponents, work well in tournaments and leagues and have a well designed and varied roster with several viable builds. I also like the idea that they have a high skill ceiling so I could continue to develop with the teamover many games without ever getting board.
