We also announced a new warehouse and distribution hub near to the West Midlands airport on the same day, though the profit announcement rather hid that. That's the sort of thing that excites me having spent the ten years I was away from GW in distribution. I've huge respect for our warehouse and distribution staff because they work so hard to fulfill the needs of the business in a distribution hub that is actually quite small. It doesn't sound much, but to people who work in distribution and warehousing, a new, bigger, more modern place to work is very exciting.
It also heralds up to 11,000 new jobs in the West Midlands, from the building work to the staffing needs, it's jobs within GW and within other businesses. That's an incredible achievement for a company that makes toy soldiers.

I misread that and read that GW we're building a new warehouse and airport and my eyes popped out of my head for a second trying to figure out what GW would be doing building an airport.
