Like the models and these are needed, but the question is where will the rules go? Hint at the next Spike! inbound?

Yes but which team? An Orc and Humans Spike! (my guess) or Goblins(2nd choice), Chaos Dwarf? (unlikely) New team? (doubt)

Pick one of the teams with Badlands Brawl or Underworlds Challenge as a keyword.

Underworld have been released.

If their release is to be tied into a Spike then I'm going to suggest Chaos Dwarves are next.
1. Of the teams of legend they are the one that have Badlands Brawl
2. We are waiting on a Grashnak Blackhoof model from Spike 13 - qualify for him as Chosen of... [NB I was convinced there had been a preview of Grashnak but can't find it on warhammer community]
3. They have Worlds Edge Superleague so could also be the first printed rules (outside the blister) for the new Barik model
4. The made to order release was Dec 2020 - that seems like a similar time frame between previous MTOs and new team releases.
5. Whilst it seems likely we will have a Tzeentch and Slaanesh team at some point, neither seem an obvious candidate for Badlands Brawl or underworld challenge.

...that said we have Barik and Kreek Rustgouger who don't appear in a supplement/rulebook, so may be reading into this too much!

Spike releases (11+ 2020 rules)
1. Chaos Chosen
2. Dark Elves
3. Nurgle
4. Shambling Undead
5. Halflings
6. Wood Elves
7. Lizardmen
8. Ogres
9. Renegades/ Underworld/old world alliance
10. Snotlings
11. Necromantic
12. Imperial Nobility / Black Orcs
13. Khorne

"Missing" 2020 star players (no Fw model yet)
Rumbelow (rulebook)
Bryce the Slice (Spike 11)
Grashnak (Spike 13)

Then, there are the 5 Teams of Legend without Spike magazine (soon 4 as Amazons are anounced).

So looks like the new almanac will include rules for Bomber, Fungus, Kreek and Barik. No indication of any other new stars, but I'm going to guess it will likely have a full refreshed list of stars for the All Star Player rules.

Looks to be a bit more additional content than in previous Almanacs.

It's got the Spikes in order (including their Star Players), and then separate sections for Barik, Kreek, Fungus, Bomber and that's it
