I'm interested.
Who thinks that the Amazons need more than what they get officially?

Should they get:
a) Nothing - they rock anyway
b) 2 Extra catchers - why do they only get 2 when the humies get 4?
c) A big guy - a Kroxigor
d) A big Guy - an ogre
e) A big Guy - the Unicorn
f) A big guy - something else (please specify)
g) Something else (please specify)

I'm interested in the feedback.

I don't think they need any more Catchers, if you gave them 4 then you'd have to do the same for the Norse.

There's no reason why the shouldn't have a Big Guy though, but definately not a Krox, probably the ubiqutous play-for-almost-anybody Ogre, or possibly a Treeman.

On a separate but related note, why on earth do Norse get a Mino? Just doesn't fit at all with the fluff. We'll be fielding a Norse Ogre in our League, but using Mino stats to keep 2k1 compliant.

give 'em a troll, like the age old habit of women hanging around with someone really ugly to make themselves more appealing. Also women like to be around really stupid males.

:lol: :lol: :lol:

PLEASE NOTE:no women were intentionally hurt in the formation of this post.

Give them an ogre and recover their unicorn starplayer lucky luck. Some friends bought the team and like this mini.

Babs since you asked ... my take on the Amazon team.

1) The team is the only one that has 4 rosters positions with Blodge and is the only team one normal skill roll away from any player on the team having Blodge ... that is not to be underestimated. So no extra position players ... 8 is fine.

2) I would like to see the cost of the Amazon Thrower be 60k. My reasoning on this ... computed costwise the Amazon thrower is the worst in the entire game.
Human = Computed 80k ... Actual 70k
High Elf = Computed 90k ... Actual 80k
Orc = Computed 70k ... Actual 70k
Skaven = Computed 80k ... Actual 70k
Dark Elf = Computed 90k ... Actual 90k
Wood Elf = Computed 90k ... Actual 90k
Norse = Computed 70k ... Actual 70k
Amazon = Computed 60k ... Actual 70k

See out of the 8 teams that have a player that starts with the Pass skill the Amazon Thower is the only one that cost MORE than she worth. Drop the price of the thrower to 60k and I'd be more happy than trying to throw two more Catchers on the team ... AG 3 Pass is a 10k skill ... she the ONLY thrower in BB who pays 20k for this 10k skill.

3) As for a Big Guy ... no Ogre ... if you wanted to give them a Kroxigor (assuming that the BBRC fixes the Krox by given him Mighty Blow in October) that's fine by me ... I would guess its possible that they tame one they captured from the neighbors.

So in summary ...
No extra catchers, Throwers cost 60k, Kroxigor Big Guy IF Mighty Blow added in October

I'm happy you ask for it... I remember I posted a topic on BBC in order to say I found Amazons a little bit underpowered than the others teams.

So I'd like to include a big guy. A ogre, a krox (more than an ogre), or something to find in WHB World (and a special mini to do ;o)... Who says an unicorn :wink: ? What about this poor lucky luc a lot of people has bought in the amazon deal ? :wink:

Personally I don't care how many people have bought Unicorns, I don't want them on the BB pitch!!!
Glue factory for the lot of them! :smile:

I'm just kidding... I never found great the idea of making special minis like that... It reminds me the earliest version of Forest Folk... With Gnome, and the skill "ride"... nothing to see with BB...

Trambi: I said it was just a joke :wink: The difference between Unicorns an dragons, is Unicorns were official... and still available, if I believe what I can see on GW website.

About Dragons ogres: I read too fast your first answer. For me, it's avery good idea... it could be a little bit like centaurs...

For chaos halflings, for example...

What do you think about ?

Dragon Ogres: 0-2 (only if Yum is removed)
6 4 2 8 Sure feet, Sprint, Thick Skull, Bonehead (it's an Ogre, after all :razz:) 120k

Just a suggestion... I haven't seen cost formula...

Great ... we completely left Babs question on Amazons ... sigh ... quickly if you want to remove Yum and use Two Dragon Ogres then give them Uncontrollable instead of Bonehead ...the rules have this trait on my blood-bowl.net under the Dark Elf team.
