help me get to blood-bowl.net

Can anyone help me to get to blood-bowl.net? I had a problem getting to here..but doubleskulls had a "host file" line I added and now I am here. But for some reason I can't connect to blood-bowl.net at all. Any help?

not to sound ungrateful...but I know the address. Thing is it just "can't find server".

When I was trying to connect to talkbloodbowl.com I had a similiar problem.
Here is the problem and the soloution to THAT concern as posted by doubleskulls on NAF forum

There is some issue with the DNS propagation.

One temporary solution is to put the following line in your hosts file (normally C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts)

81.168.2.123 www.talkbloodbowl

That ought to allow you to connect. I can't connect from work, because the stupid firewall can't resolve the name and I don't have permission to go and edit its hosts file.

So given that...is there a similiar way to get to blood-bowl.net?

It did not. As well an email sent to admin@blood-bowl.net came back as a failed delivery too.

checkDNS.net was no help either...it tells ME such a domain is not there.

So I remain stumped. Althought the whois site was helpful to a point. That is where i got the admin address. And from the look of the site image I know I have been there before many ages ago. But now....I am still blocked for reasons I can't figure out.

So..any more ideas?

That's because I closed all the email addresses attached to the site ... so there is no one home at any @blood-bowl.net email address.

I have no clue what is causing your problem.

That's it. I have no severe fire walls...you see what i have posted about the talkbloodbowl.com problem...and those tricks didn't work.

I will contact my isp and see if they can offer a reason. But this is indeed most odd.

[assuming windows, if you use a *nix you should know how to do this]

Open a command line and try:

ping www.midgardbb.com
ping 63.247.81.162

-and-

tracert www.midgardbb.com
tracert 63.247.81.162

See where that gets you.
