My website is up and running

Post by vorner23 »

Hey all,

This also has a thread in the Pbem/online leagues thread.

However, I thought some might be interested in looking at the site whether online BB is their bag or not.

Its supposed to be based on a more fluff/story approach.

Anyway, its brand new so take a look. Few areas need to be sorted and one or two gifs are dodgy... but all in good time they'll be sorted.

If you fancy trying the league post me.

Cheers,
Vorner23

Argh loads of advertising pop ups, I shall send a team in when i get round to it, like the little rolling footballs in the menu though.

Yeah unfortunately the popups are not something we can remove.

You should only have a large amount the first time you visit. Then its one per page. We'll look at changing web provider, we just wanted to get it going for people to see.

Glad you like the Hail Mary. Many more to follow.

I really have to apologise.

Although (personally i think the site is very funny....mainly because I wrote most of it!) the pop ups are not only annoying but they are also freezing certain screens. Which is a shame.

Rest assured that we'll change the server soon so as to avoid crappy freezes.

Well I thought I'd better put the notification in this forum too.

The WoP League has moved.

Death of the hated pop ups!!!! The crowds rejoice.

With help from Christer, the league has moved to a far less annoying hosting. Please click on the www icon at the bottom to get the new address.

In other news, the second round is well under way with games already having been played.

The divisions are still moving and shaking. So there's plenty to aim for. Although, I reckon the bottom division might just turn out to be the most fun anyway!! Not that I will actually end up in it of course!

So pootle along to your fixture page, and arrange your next fixture asap.

Also, worth noting. The open league part of the site is growing rapidly. The open is completely separate from the standard league, there for those of you that cant get enough BB. Anyone can submit a team, not only those already in the WoP. So if you fancy a go, drop me an email.

cheers all,
Peter/vorner23 :smoking:
