Bloodbowl.US

Post by GalakStarscraper »

I was browsing the net and hit this site.

http://www.bloodbowl.us

What caught my eye was 2 things:

1) One of the folks involved in it is my old friend ChaosElmo from the old bbowl-l mailing list days ... who basically vanished when the list died.

2) The other is this Ultimate BB program that they are working on. I'm having a hard time trying to decide if they are trying to compete with Ski's program (JavaBowl) or Ronald and I's (PBeM).

Anyone know anything about the project or the site???

Galak

Oh I also have to laugh at the guy in Denmark who bought bloodbowl.biz and bloodbowl.info a year and a half ago and then never did anything with either one ... guess maybe he thought GW would pay big money to get those sites. The other one that is puzzling is that bloodbowl.org is taken ... no site ... but I cannot pull up any WHOIS documentation on who has it registered and when their license expires. http://www.register.com can give you almost anything you want to know about who owns a site and when their license is up. Anyway ... if someone knows about this site above, I'd love to hear some goods on it.

Looking at the screenshots, the 'Connect' button seems to indicate it's probably real time and therefore not Pbem. There's definately some 3e Death Zone cards in one of the screenshots too.
