Website newbie

Post by Joemanji »

I want to start messing about with creating websites, having never attemped that kind of thing before.

Where's the best place to get a little bit of free space to start off with? (least annoying adverts etc.)

Cheers :)

The easiest it to get hold of a copy of a WYSIWYG application, such as Dreamweaver, and get used to it. It's almost like writing a doc file, but then, you can just start playing with it and do decent things.

Show as your tests thou ..

sorry to piggy back the thread but on the same lines what service is worth paying for if i am new to websites. I wanted a simple package where i could host a gallery of teams i am painting and maybe a brief now to guide etc...
All the service providers i have look at offer so many optional extras it is difficult to know what kind of package to look for. I access my internet through Blueyonder broadband, i noted that grumbledook sujested i may be able to get webstace through them. Any help would be apriciated thank you.
