Personally, I'm not a fan of the 3rd edition rules at all.

But I'm glad there is still one league out there that uses the rules for those who don't want to change.

unless they changed the rules since i left over a year ago they don't use 3rd edition its very house rules heavy and from speaking to some more ex olbbl coaches who have moved over to fumbbl i believe its still the same

though i must say i heard a rumour they were going to start using javabowl rather than the irc client

Yes the actual rules are more funny than the olbbl rules.

I am a former player of olbbl and y preffer the new rules.

the alies rule do that all teams are somes.

I wish people would explain why they say things such as 3ed stinks, or allies stink. Its not very constructive to just say it without giving your point of view.

1) Foul Wars - Dirty Player as the 1st skill choice on the team. Getting rid of your opponent's dirty player(s) pretty much guarantees a win and your DPs are the best players in the game

2) Cards - Don't like em. It introduces a too powerful random element into the game.

3) Money - now I can't just fire players who don't get a double - even though its a lot more important with traits!

BTW - why don't you switch to LRB?
