Of course, more player figures from Heresy would be better, but this is still a huge leap onwards... at least he doubled the amount of fantasy football miniatures available :D

And the figure, of course, is as good as one has grown to expect from Heresy. A great figure in other words.

Nah, that's Timmy Saville you're thinking of (and it was Tim'll fix it!) ;)

Now that you mention it, he does look a bit like jimmy saville.
With regards to those people not liking the helmet, fair enough - the problem i had was mamking a figure that looked like it was a fantasy model as opposed to a standard football manager with baseball cap form the modern world. It was really alotmore tricky than i had expected.

I'd also like to point out that as a last-minute decision, I managed to squeeze a few footballs onto the mould - each Manager model comes with two spare footballs for you to use in your games if you need to replace lost ones! (ball on a bit of grass, game-ball style)

I'd love to do more football stuff, but it's a lack of time, gotta do a new thrud for a start! (no, can't do a football thrud, been warned by gw already)

Hope that's useful to you all!
Ta for the support!

Andy

From a German stand-point, I'd call him Rudi Assauer (Manager of Schalke 04, German soccer club). Has to be painted in a dark suite, possible green-stuff a tie and the cigar has to be darker, but other than that ....

Andy,

out of interest, do you have any ideas as to how the "normal" fantasy figures have sold compared to the "BB" ones??

Thing is, I have now bought about 6 fantasy figures all to convert for BB, so I guess any comparison would be vague at best...

My line of thinking is, do a good "BB" figure and I think you have 500 buyers right here on Talk BB... how long does it take to sell 500 Torturers or Gaolers?

Abandon fantasy and turn to the "BB" side....

Very reasonable. I'll be getting one, but I'll wait until I have a few more figs that I need. I loaded up on Heresy stuff during the sale....
