Hthark's Base

I think I have seen this pop up before but I can't seem to find it.

What base do you use for Hthark. I purchased two but they had no base. My local Comic Book owner looked at the mini (still in pieces) and assumed "Cavalry Base" from Warhammer. I don't know Warhammer, but I looked at a cavalry base, and that couldn't be it.

So what do you use for Hthark's Base?

the calvalry base is the one that supposed to come with the mini. But it works well with a big guy circle base too, but you'll have to do some cutting. For bloodbowl I recommend the circle base. WFB is better for calvary base...to keep formations and such.

I need to put everything in terms of Warhammer, soooo If I ask for a "Big Guy" Base, what does that translate to in Warhammer speak.

big guy base in warhammer is the big square.

but i have a couple htharks mounted on calvalry bases.

Warhammer - 40mm square
Blood Bowl or 40K - 40mm round

Bull Centaurs fit better on the pitch if you use the standard small round base. Just cut the metal entirely off of one foot and trim the other one so it fits in the base. Works great.

I have two bull centaurs and an unicorn (for my amazons) a all them have regular BB bases. of course, you have to do some cutting, but is easy, and looks good

25mm base for BCs ...

Snip the longer of the two leg connections. make the shorter one about 2mm shorter, then it fits into 25mm slotabase. Glue in with lots of glue and stabilise with greenstuff. For reeling position, cut the front hoof too and bend back legs carefully backwards.

Awesome job, Tim. Those calvary bases are a real pain in BB. Doing this mod is really worth it.
