Khemri bits

Post by christer »

Anyone know exactly what bits come with the khemri starter and booster packs? The GW online store only says "2 mummies and 10 skeletons", which doesn't really indicate how many blitz-ra and thro-ra you can build.

Christer-
If you go to my site, you can see a Khemri team being assembled step by step with photos if you are curious about specific pieces. Otherwise, the parts are two mummy figures (one piece), and enough bits to make 2 blitz-ra's, 2 throw-ra's as well as 6 skeletal linemen. Any other questions, feel free to PM me.

Then you can cry as you have to put them together ;)
Do they make a drill bit that small?

the site is great.

Why you don't convert one model to look like a kicker? I do, and looks cool.

I'm getting a set, hoping to have it in a tourney-playable state before a tournament that starts April 9th.. :)

I should probably take some yoga classes or something to keep from cursing (at) them too much in preparation of the tournament

The key things with assembly are to clean the parts well before putting them together and to let the superglue dry completely from one stage before proceding to the next. A hint for success is after a limb or other body part is superglued, go back over it with another drop or two after each step to reinforce the parts. It keeps the miniatures from falling to pieces as they are used. If it is any consolation, the painting part goes very quickly as most of it is the colour of the wrappings and bones. Just shout if you run into problems.

Cheers,
Torpor

Why not a 4 mummy team out of the gate is decent enough to play with. Only problem would be super lucky elven dodgy git coaches :)
