travel BB game?

Post by Flumox Fleebiter »

Mongoose Publishing is coming out with a 15MM range of minis for a new game sim to WHFB. The first races are barbarians, orcs, and wood elves. A good sized starter army will be $20 MSRP ($15 on the streets).

Anyone see a potential for a travel size BB pitch (15mm squares) with these little guys? haha!

Actually it's already in the works.

I saw a sketch of it at the TKC tournament in Florida. I've even got a picture of the sketch.

Andy said it's a couple of years down the road though.

Here's the picture. http://www.sju.edu/~deckman/tkc_2004/travel_bb.JPG

In fact, Dan is converting epic and warmaster stuff right on top of those magnets, and they REALLY look great.

hah! never even thought about epic stuff...now you're talking s-m-a-l-l there.

that picture is pretty fancy? cut out dugouts and peg holes for score, etc. nice idea.

As far as Mongoose's stuff, we'll have to wait and see what the minis end up looking like, for sure....but the price is right.

I was just reading instructions about making a travel SpaceHulk with epic genestealers and terminators... Sounds spiffy.
